IF "the terrorists" really wanted to destroy the US, they would have crashed into the cooling pool holding tons of radioactive waste, dumping it into the Hudson 35 miles N of NYC, thus making the entire NY/NJ/CT area into a radioactive wasteland for BILLIONS of years.
