I had SUCH a great time at Knotfest on Sunday! (I know...Im a day late with my post....yesterday was recovery day, Lol). The highlight of the day was meeting Max Weinburg (of Conan OBrien and Bruce Springsteen fame). I talked to him for about 10 minutes, and he was SO nice and personable! It was really cool chatting with him! Also met the guys in Slipknot, chatted with Tom and Chad from Hellyeah (who were both VERY nice as well), and met and chatted with Dan from Atreyu as well. I gotta say, everyone was SO super nice and friendly....way more than I expected! This also was my first time every to see Slipknot, who was INCREDIBLE, live. (Five Finger Death Punch was great as well.) I want to give a huge thank you to John Boecklin of Devil Driver (who also killed it, live, on Sunday) for the back stage/all access passes, and for Chris Warner from Butcher Babies for taking Jonny and I all around as well. What an amazing day, with amazing friends and musicians!
