I had a wonderful experience this morning...as sat in the car waiting for my son, I called to my primary Power Animal and after we greeted each other, I asked him a question. Uncharacteristically, he rolled over onto his back and offered his belly and ribs for tickling. I gladly did so and said, "This is not like you. What is the message My Brother?" He lifted his nose towards the heavens.... I stuck my head out the window and looked up into a light greyish white sky. The air was very, very still.... Then, the sky opened and the shape of another Power Animal, Hawk, formed in the sky. I laughed, "I got the message My Friend, Thank You." Upon my words, a breeze came, caressing my face and moving the leaves of a nearby tree--conformation of the message having been acquired. This is Shamanism. (experience as shared by Paul Hinsberger)
