I had been saving for a while for a tatoo to cover scars on my arm. I went to DURANTS tatoos in grant ave norwood. The tatoo that I got was supposed to be flames. I should have known when the tatooist could not free hand flames. Note I dont say tatoo artist because artists they are not. I ended up with a tatoo that looks like it was done by a 4 year old not to mention the masive skin infection I developed . I had to be put on anti biotics which cost me another R600 I didnt have. After going back to the tatoo shop to complain I was told to return in 4 weeks which I did. The tatooist proceeded to go over all the lines again which just made a bad tatoo more visible. It has no shading, no colour its just lines. I have been quoted R4000 to fix this mess. So I guess I will just have to live with it! Moral of the story is, be carefull where you go for tatoos as they dont wash off. Im now marked for life an every time I look at my arm, Im reminded of my stupidity!
