I had posed some questions under a topic on another friends page relative to (Black) Feminism. I genuinely had an honest inquiry, unfortunately it ended with that individual defriending me from her page and for that I sincerely apologize for any perceived ill will or misunderstanding. Nevertheless, I have many intelligent women from various backgrounds and ideologies so let me pose this question to you, since I know I cant get booted off my page and I will also post the portions of my conversation in the comments for your evaluation. Heres the questions, verbatim: My concern with (Black) feminism is that it seems to often perpetuate itself off the idea that most (Black) men are subjugating victimizers, who objectify, demean, brutalize and devalue womanhood. Sometimes it is difficult to even have a conversation without concern of being generalized, so like now, I must choose the most benign language and approach to avoid raising the negative aspects of their aggressive ire. I also wonder about this alleged black male privilege, because in society Ive noticed that black men are generally placed at the lowest rung of the social ladder, especially in the vocational area. This is a # noshots post, just a personal assertion based on my individual evaluations.
