I had to copy and paste.......as an announcer at two local race tracks.....I feel everything written below as well! Agree?? Comments?? Racing is a sport in which people spend thousands of dollars to win a few, hours and hours of prep work for a combined 20 minutes or so of actual under throttle time, bend or break parts, fix parts and break them again and again, make new friends, make those new friends into enemies on the track, smile, cry, pout, laugh, yell, argue, make up and repeat. We complain that were tired and broke, yet never take a day off or miss a race if we can help it. All in all, racing is an event that turns friends into family, complete strangers into fans and normal everyday guys into childhood heroes. Its not just a sport, but a lifestyle and its a lifestyle I wanna be apart of until the day I die! I love all my peeps at the track and would do anything for them. Simply the best group of people alive! THATS whats racing!
