I had to return something at the mall yesterday. Having a one month old newborn we have been told by the doctor that we can take her out, just not in large group settings or around little kids for at least another couple weeks. We found that going to the mall around 2pm on a weekday is the best time to avoid crowds and kids. The place was empty. With that said, I put baby girl in the Ergo and carried her around. She was content, not a peep the entire time. My mother in law (Grandma), AKA Nonna, and I hit a few stores and realized we skipped lunch. We both needed a snack so we walked over to the food court. I dont think Ive had anything from a mall food court since college. When I spotted Hot Dog on a Stick I asked mom if she would eat that. To my surprise, she has never had it before. That was that. They let her try a turkey corn dog, but she went for the American cheese on a stick. I was pleasantly surprised to hear they had vegetarian hot dog on a stick, as well as light lemonade. As a little kid my mom would take my brother and I there quite a bit. Loved it. Glad I could take Grandma for her first experience, which she enjoyed. Felt like a kid again! Next time we are getting her the pepper jack cheese on a stick. Next time you pass a Hot dog on a Stick, make sure you try something yummy. They do offer Nathans beef hot dogs on a stick.
