I had tooth work again today. and at 430 am I encountered the phrase in my personal discipline of materials science, no theory exists to explain . it has hit me really hard. I am with out ground. no one to talk to about what that direct statement actually means. I have data. I have modeled data. I also now know that about 50 years of data interpretation left out a term. a fairly significant term. and that surrounding this term... the statement no theory exists . and it is bugging the crap out of me. to the point of feeling ill. and mostly.. I am trying with all my might. to suppress the fun just so I dont get my mood bad next time I talk to my colleague.
