I hate doing this but I have to say something. We had an electrical problem and I called Mr. Sparky electric co. The owner told me $89 for the trip and they would assess and quote me repair costs. Upon arrival the repair person noted that the problem was simple - I accidentally taped a ground wire to a hot wire and it flipped the breaker. He removed the tape and was done. He then said that we owed the trip fee plus the service fee which is charged in 15 min increments. The total was 158 bucks! I called the owner and he explained his business model and offered that I should have used the $89 coupon in locals love us magazine. What?! When I got home the repair guy left a copy of the magazine with the damn coupon in it but didnt tell Stephanie about it while she wrote the check! They also did not explain the incremental service fee when I scheduled them! I accept my failure to ask more questions but come on. Buyers beware! Check out the franchise on ripoffreport. I dont know - what do you all think?
