They save me no energy bcos instead of flicking on a light, walking into the room, finding what I want then walking out and flicking it back off, have to wait 5 minutes for it to warm up enough to give me enough light to see what I need to grab, there for the time it needs to stay on for is probably costing me the same anyway. Not to mention the fact that they are a complete bio hazard and will be toxic land fill in years to come as if they are broken they are deadly poisonous. But as I have 15 foot ceilings in this rental it is not that easy to change them.
