Craft Person Advance: The Advanced Craftsperson performs routine repairs and maintenance to equipment and facility buildings. The incumbent tests, inspects, troubleshoots and repairs machines, equipment and systems; understands and interprets blueprints, schematics, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings and specifications; selects, sets up and uses all tools, materials and equipment required to complete tasks and projects. - Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instruction son new assignments - Follows group standards and procedures - May give work direction and/or assign work to others - Participates in testing, process improvement projects - Adheres to policies and procedures Role expectations- Perform Preventive Maintenance and breakdown repairs to injection molding machines and related equipment - Proficient in electrical & mechanical preventive maintenance of presses for plastic injection.- Analyses to prioritize work and make decisions - Focuses on critical deliverables and high priority assignments.- Perform facilities related activities at offices, manufacturing environment and laboratories.- Responsible for cleaning and lubricating machinery, - Performs or coordinates maintaining the working areas in a clean and orderly condition. - Understands and practices safe working practices including proper application of chemicals. The incumbent may be responsible for the transport of hazardous waste from work areas to designated hazardous waste storage areas. - Contributes to customer satisfaction. Candidate Requirements: - Experience in a plastics at manufacturing environment, Sumitomo and Engel-electric and hydraulic presses preferred. -Knowledge on robotics would be a plus, Yushin - Able to work both indoors and outdoors as required - Able to stand, bend and/ or kneel per job requirement - Able to work using lifts or climbing ladders - Able to lift, carry, push, pull 50 lbs. Additional Job Description: Mold Setup and Injection Molding processing experience preferred. This is a replacement for a CW and the duration will be extended beyond the initial 2 months. 6 months at a time. Hours: 8-5pm Compensation : $20.00 Quality Inspector Advance: The Quality Technician inspects and reports supplied parts quality. The incumbent will perform inspection of purchased parts, intricate first article parts and packaging and labels using a wide variety of hand gages more complex automated inspection equipment. They have an understanding of basic Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing systems. They initiate rejection reports for non-conforming materials and ensure proper completion of required documentation in accordance with departmental, GMP, and ISO requirements. They interface with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production, Planner/Buyers, Development personnel, and suppliers when solving quality issues and troubleshooting parts. The incumbent will create and analyze quality reports and recommend courses of action regarding non-conforming materials. QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years of experience in a regulated (FDA, ISO, or GMP) manufacturing setting 3-5 years of experience performing dimensional measurements on a variety of parts Strong analytical skills Self starter Effective teamwork, interpersonal, and leadership skills Good written and verbal communication skills Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Must be available to work a limited amount of weekend overtime and an occasional evening or night shift to support changing manufacturing needs. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 2 year Associates degree in a technical field Experience operating a CMM Certified Quality Inspector Experience with material systems, such as Oracle Basic knowledge of ISO13485 Medical Devices Standard Hours: 8-5pm Compensation: $22
