I have a deep regard and Love for Christian Missionaries as am indebted to their Hospitality and grace, but of late I have a complaint……. These last few years with my study of Hindu Philosophy have been going out of my way to explain Hindu scriptures and Philosophy to Christians Missionaries and how in its deep essence there is no room for conflict they are just perceptions to the one truth that is acceptable to different sensibilities and have received hostile reactions of Hinduism is false Gods and Teaching’s and damned to Hell !!! First I can quote from the Bible and screw you so bad you won’t know your face from your posterior but you will obviously use the famous Christian defense ‘ Even the Devil quotes from the scriptures’. In this kind of an environment we will all be fools and miss the point of Love and compassion. My sincere advice to Christian Missionaries who come enlightened to India to spread THE GOOD NEWS first read and study Hindu Philosophy and scriptures than you are in a position to preach in India otherwise for the learned Hindu you will just be an Ass with a agenda to just promote an alien culture of suit boot tie and the English language and rightly be accused of bribing the poor with lucrative offers for accepting Christ. Hindu is a way of life and is as a practice too vast to be summarized by a few esoteric practices that can be used against it for ridicule. If you study Hinduism deeply you will know Jesus can be and is considered among many a learned as an avatar of Vishnu. If Christianity has to flourish in India and be accepted by the radical Hindu it has to meet the subject in the spiritual atmosphere of this rich spiritual land that is why I remain a big fan of Swamy Daya Ananda or Fr. Bede Griffiths ( The Jesuit Priest from England ) and am only comfortable in public worshipping Christ in Shantivanam Ashram ( Trichey ) which in my relative reasoning has the right perspective of the direction for INDIAN CHRISTIANITY……Featured the BEDE AUM CROSS which I intend to sport in Silver….
