I have a non hiking question. I adopted a dog, Ivy, from a shelter on Monday. Today I had to admit her to the hospital for pneumonia. The vet said the shelter should have known because she has likely had it for a while. This is a massive financial blow for me as I make very little at my part time job. Does anyone know of any financial assistance programs out there? Ive been looking but its pretty overwhelming and I dont know which ones are legit. Any help would be appreciated.
