I have a serious question and I am asking it in the best way I know how. Why do people worry so much about things that do not really matter? Why do people lack perspective and cannot see beyond themselves, the temporary situation, etc? Why are mole hills made into mountains? Why does having a brand new car when you cannot afford to buy your kids clothes matter? Why do people have children they cannot afford and then expect others to take care of them? Why do people think they deserve things they have not worked for? Why does a blemish on your face, the clothes you wear, and having your eyebrows waxed matter more than a child who is starving to death and does not have clean water to drink overseas? Why women tan even though it causes skin cancer and bleach their hair blonde when we all know via their roots they are brunettes? Why are people not happy with who they really are and why do they always have to be someone else? Why do people spend tens of thousand of dollars on weddings? Why do napkins and wedding venues weigh so much more heavily on peoples mind than the quality of the person they are marrying? Why do people build $300,000- $500,000 homes? I just dont understand why or how people became so egocentric and focused on things. Why cant we just focus on being the best version of our unique and authentic selves?
