I have a story to tell...Yesterday as my sister was loading up her kiddos to leave our house, my niece refused to go...she had a secret to tell us....she told Mimi (Loretta LeFever Sahr) first then she told me. Very quietly my beautiful, sometimes sassy, big hearted niece said can I spend the night and we can throw my mom a surprise party tomorrow? If you couldve heard her excitement and sweetness... you.would.have.cried. So we said yes, but it has to be a secret! Britt left (sad kiley didnt want to go home) And we sat in my bed and made a list of everything we were going to do for mommy then we went to the store. Ky was so ecstatic. She had so many ideas, and although it was last minute & we had a small budget we pulled off a adorable surprise party, a delicious lunch, spa party, and fun filled day! We asked britt to come over at 11:30am, then jumped out to surprise britt, who wasnt expecting anything!!!! Then we had lunch and Mimis peanut butter chews! (Thanks Mimi!) And we gave Britt cards. Kiley made her mom a coupon book; with 24 free kisses, 24 free hugs, 24 min nap, 1 free Mimi house clean *by appointment only) We also got Brittany Thomson a little gift, filled with spa items, then we showed her our set up to give her a spa day (without chasing her wild boy around! Thanks Justin Myers and Vince Sahr for watching Levi!) We made her put on a plush robe, soaked her feet in a foot spa, did a mint chocolate chip facial (with cucumbers for her eyes!), turned on the movie Frozen (because no spa day is complete without a Disney movie)..and then we surprised her again with dark chocolate covered strawberries!! (That me and kiley made late last night, while we were slap happy and crazy! Lol) Then...theres more...we played in the pool, on the slip-n-slide, trampoline, and had a water balloon fight!!!!!! Lastly, we had cake & one of Britts favorite ice creams!!! This was an action packed day, but when a 6 year old or any child, asks to plan a surprise for their momma...YOU SAY YES! As I am so happy my sister had a great day, I am in tears proud of my niece. She planned this day herself, Loubug & Mimi & everyone else were just helpers. She is growing up into a very sweet young lady!
