I have been asked a lot about what is needed per elder in the Nursing Home Project. He is a brief list that we give each year; this is the minimum; you can give more. Okay for the Nursing home project we give each elder a blanket, slipper socks, baby powder, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, tooth brush, a rag and a facial towel, Vaseline, wipes, eye drops for dry eyes, and we also like to get a small gift for both our male and female elders; this gift should be no more than 10 dollars; a little hint the elders love Chocolate covered cherries and boxes of chocolates; some also love big stuffed animals to cuddle up with . We also need Christmas cards, and gift bags to put the items in The blankets have to be regular sized, and warm; not them tiny little rolled up ones as they do not cover the elder, and they also do not keep them warm.
