I have been asked alot in the past few days what makes the Arbonne shakes so different to other brands. Here is a side by side analysis. Important to note the saturated fat, monounsaturated fat, polyunsaturated fat, cholesterol, sugars and fructose. Fructose is only a good carb if you do intense workout prior to the shake and is not recommended in a weight loss regime that does not include intense daily exercise. Here is another popular brand Nutritional Information. The first picture is the other brand and the 2nd picture is the Arbonne Chocolate Shake (both per serving) Calories: Other Brand 240 Arbonne 170 Protein Source Other Brand: Whey (Animal product & high allergen) Arbonne: Pea, Brown Rice & Cranberry (100% Vegan, the most digestable form of protein & a non allergen) Protein Other Brand 24g Arbonne 20g: More absorbable form as it is in a more digestable source. Quality over quantity when body building and converting fat to muscle. Saturated Fat Other Brand: 1.5g Arbonne: 0.2g (below what is legally required to be mentioned on list but is listed) Polyunsaturated Fat Other Brand: 0.5g Arbonne: None Monounsaturated Fat Other Brand: 1.5g Arbonne: None CHOLESTEROL Other Brand 45mg Arbonne: None Sugars Other Brand: 11g (fructose & stevia) Arbonne: 9g (stevia & cane sugar; new formulation next month with no refined sugars at all) There is no fiber in the Arbonne nutritional information as the fibre is in a separate packet for those who prefer not to have fibre and for those who prefer fibre on its own without the shake. For any more information, please feel free to ask.
