I have been feeling bad since July. Docs kept saying acid indigestion and I have been taking meds for that. My chest pain would come and go and was called esophageal spasms. I took it as that because that is what I was told. I also has acid indigestion symptoms---gas, burning, burping, all of them. The cardiologist said that the early pains were Angina and basically warning signs. The early pains hurt and would have me sitting down. Saturday was really bad that morning, but got better. I was crying and screaming from the pain and Michael wanted me to go to ER then. I told him that they would just give me pain meds and send me home. Sunday I had upper back pain most of the morning. It was bad and I cried again. Im not a cryer and think I have a high tolerance for pain. But I was begging for the pain to stop. Michael was at football meeting and when he got home, he suggested I take a warm shower to see if it would ease the pain. Started hurting in my chest again---decided to go to Shelby ER. We got to the vet office before Ingles and I started sweating profusely, arms were numb and I couldnt sit in the seat because I was in so much pain. I couldnt lie still on the table for them to get an EKG. They also had to replace the sticky things on my body because I was sweating so much. I was begging for them to give me something to stop the pain. They finally saw something on the EKG and started all the stuff--nitro, baby aspirin, 2 things of morphine--did not touch the pain! Still had pain during the flight, got no relief until the doc placed the stent--it was amazing. 100% blockage in the left anterior artery. As soon as he placed the stent--no more pain. I know this was more than people wanted to to read, but I feel strongly that I was overlooked because I was a woman and younger than the norm. We know our bodies better than anyone, please dont over look the pain and be more proactive than I was. I dont want anyone to experience the pain I had Sunday---horrible
