I have been messaged quite a bit and in honor of all those who have helped I want to share the story to squelch rumors and to shed light. Here is the scoop. Social media in the area blanketed things. Tana Almerico helped so much with this. Twitter, instagram and fb. We also worked news media. I posted an ad on craigslist for missing person and stolen car. Between the social media and the craigslist postings, a hero in Las Vegas saw the car listed by the absolute AHOLE she was staying with for 2k and contacted authorities. This was a new guy that was not the original one, who she did meet up with but didnt stay with. Mad props to the Las Vegas Police department especially Officer Lara. Who did the sting and caught her and 3 older males and the female runaway she was with at a Motel 6 behind the hooters casino on the strip. I requested that they all be arrested. Mak is being held safe and sound in Juvenile detention and I am working with a hospital in Oregon for long term treatment for my baby for her mental illness. I am also working with prosecution for a plea bargain that requires the attendance at a residential treatment facility for the probation term (fingers crossed we can make this work). A transport company will take her from police custody as soon as they have a bed available. I am en route to Vegas. I love my child and will fight to ends of the earth to save her. Ive never had a white picket fence, Im not a perfect mom, but I have always done the best that I can as a single parent to love her with all that I am. Please dont judge us, just send light and love our way as I push to get her healed and happy and healthy. Mental illness is horrific, drug addiction is horrific. Mak is a sweet girl who is lost, but I will always fight to find her and bring her back to the light. Thank you for all of your support. Again, just send love her way, no judgement, just love.
