I have been resisting, mainly out of embarrassment, to posting a picture of what advent looks like in our house. I feel all these cute Christmas trees and romantic advent candles are not a true reflection of how advent is in todays culture and our house. We move from one nativity, music concert, party, work commitment, family engagement, present buying session to gift giving occasion, to busy to tidy up, and this year to busy (and poorly) to put up our tree. Feel free to come over and help of course.
