I have been so busy the last few days I have failed to mention some BIG AND GOOD NEWS! If you will all remember last year at this time......my house was a disaster! The hot water heater broke and caused major flooding all through the house, $17,000 worth. At that time State Farm took possession of the old hot water heater, being as it was only 6 years old and did so much damage, they were going to take the manufacturer to court to try and retrieve some of their loss. They instructed me to not give any information if anyone called me to ask about the case and to just refer them to their attorneys. They said that if they won the case the first money would go to reimburse me for my deductible, but that it could be hung up in court for quite some time. Well........guess what?! This week I received a check in the mail from State Farm, reimbursing me my deductible! So, they obviously won the case - thanks, State Farm!
