I have been trying farming and a few business ventures since after form 4. It has not been easy; actually it has been very difficult to break even. I have tried to dig out the main reasons for the setback, with a few glaring answers. Setbacks by employees and partners being the major one. As youth we lack the luxury of Capital, this paired with untrustworthy employees and partners makes it close to impossible for a young entrepreneur to get any further. This was a challenge until I read the book by Felix Dennis( How to be rich) for the third time...Dennis has very clear remarks, firstly he informs you not to waste your time reading his book if you are a civil servant, in military or Police forces because it’s not possible for any of those to get rich, then he talks of health, it’s not possible to fight through and get rich if you are not in good health (does not include disability) and on the issues of workers he says, you have to be ruthless with your workers, unless you want to look good and end up just a good looser and lastly for today, on partners, he say business is about ownership, you have to own the business……and I quote, I can give 100% of my profits to my brother, but not 0.001% of ownership of my business Not unless and until you get ruthless with your workers, you have no business doing business, remember you want money, not friends, and you will have so many friends after you get the money.
