I have come to the conclusion that I dont want to get any older as the older I get the more people I lose in my life. I am grateful I was able to visit the women I call my 2nd mother yesterday as she has cancer, she is such a strong women and has always been there to give me advice. She gave me a bag and told me to look inside, inside that bag was my brother Johnnys leather vest and cowboy boots that he wore during his wake, all I could do was cry and say thank you. After the visit I drove my wife to her parents house so she could help her mother get Thanksgiving dinner ready, then I drove back home and called my mother and my mother tells me my Aunt Dee is riddled with cancer and will pass soon. I know this is living life on lifes terms but some times I just want to stop time.
