I have had an amazing response to starting the Waterville Teen Hope Center. I have had responses on other Facebook sites as people are sharing in the excitement as well as some with opinions on other sites. I have had 6 locals and others from outside of the area ask me what they can do to help i.e. volunteering, donating, and the big question what are you doing and why? This has made me think that for those of you whom are wanting to help with the setup etc. as the door are not officially open we should have a meeting. This Saturday November 23rd I hold a meet and greet at 12:00pm location will be set on Friday based on number of RSVP attendees. At this meeting I will discuss the business plan, outline the structure and direction of the organization, as well as allow some discussion on additional recourses we can provide within the legal range of what corporation is incorporated to do. This is not a meeting to protest the business, or bring negativity. This is only for those who have been looking at making a difference and wanting help see the organization succeed. I will not allow negativity amongst attendees; this is for information purposes and to assign tasks to those who would like to volunteer.
