I have had overwhelming feelings of love for my Savior, and the ability he has given me to CHANGE. What would I have done if change was not possible. If I was a person who lived life thinking, once a ___ always a ___. Or believing I am what I am and do what I do, if you dont like it get over it. etc etc. I believe in adoption that all sides get bad wraps in one form or another. whether intentional, or because of others, or because of others experiences. Birth Fathers CAN CHANGE, it doesnt not mean all will, but they can. Adoptive parents CAN CHANGE, and be more than they were before. Birth Mothers CAN CHANGE. And how lucky are we to be able to have that constant. No matter the path that we are on... we can change. This video has been on replay in my house. I have needed to hear it often, and am grateful for the message it sends. Also, because of the love that others have for their broken children. Placed with them through the love of a birth mother, placed through foster care, or through their own biologiy. I hope we can all remember that change IS possible.
