I have had some really bazar things happen to me through the years while at work, but today it was over the top. As I was sitting in my bosses office talking about work this bird flew up to his window and lighted on the screen hanging upside down. I naturally was curious, so I got up and went to the window and the then the craziness started. I immediately knew that this was no ordinary bird native to Mississippi, so I tell my boss that I am going outside so that I can try and catch this bird. I quietly and calmly walk outside to the bird who is still clinging to the window, and walk right up to him. It at this moment when I stick out my hand he flies straight up and lands on the shoulder...I am pretty freaked out right about now. After I regain my composure, I proceed to bring this little guy in side and give some pretzels and water, after eating for a while he tucked his head under his wing and napped in my desk. In the mean while my boss decided he would like to have a bird for a pet, so now he has a new family.
