I have hit a brick wall. My GG grandfather was Samuel B Armstrong (I do not believe he is the same as Samuel Bolton Armstrong). He married my GG Grandmother Catharine Maria Williams. Samuel (according to all the census records I have for him) was from Canada. Catherine is a question. Half the records say Canada and the other half say NY. I found 2 records of marriages for Samuel B Armstrong and Catharine M WIlliams. I have attached them. One (typed) is from the Christian Guardian of Toronto (May 18 1853) the other (handwritten) (the document says Ontario - but the page before my ancestors was not copied so I am not sure what district it was continued from.) One says April 25 1853 the other says April 26, 1853. One lists witnesses - the other doesnt. One lists the minister the other doesnt. Do you think these are the same people and the same ceremony? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am also posting this on the Toronto wall. Thank you!!
