I have just had the most wicked cramp in my foot! Some of you may know that this is often a sign of magnesium deficiency, along with tics under the eye, tight/easily injured muscles, anxiety, stress, some migraines, palpitations and many more. I found this great video that illustrates what happens when our body is low in magnesium. Magnesium is a common deficiency for many reasons - you may be under stress or do a lot of exercise both which increase your bodys need. Also our food contains less than optimum levels, not least to because heavy cropping and chemical fertilisers leave the soil depleted. Eat more organic greens and nuts to up your dietary Magnesium, however if you are are showing signs of depletion you may need a supplement to re-establish balance.
