I have just heard one of the best true ghost stories Ive ever been told.. It has to do with a friend who is in her 80s and lives down in Mansville, NY.. Her husband and life partner passed two years ago. They had been together since about 1951. Their daughter was visiting her mother very recently. The mother glanced across the living room and saw her husband sitting in his favorite chair. She rubbed her eyes and called his name. HE ANSWERED immediately. She hesitated and then walked over to him, touching him and feeling flesh and blood. She and Jerry carried on a conversation. She turned away to process what had just happened and, in an instant, he was gone. Her daughter walked into what had been their bedroom for all those years and looked around. Suddenly an ancient wind-up clock that hadnt run for decades---chimed twice. Believe it or not. I will call her and record her experiences in her own words and you will find it in my next ghost story book.
