I have made major progress in my endeavors to get galleries with captions going. Here is the first one. I believe I have in excess of 8000 images which I will more than likely use for this project. That will relate to approximately 160 or more galleries, with the galleries consisting of about 50 or so photos...on average. Some will naturally be longer and some shorter. They are all being put together with full descriptive captions and all other pertinent data. These galleries, when completed, will be a part of 6 travel books showcasing the work and experiences I had during my 46 day journey. The books will have interactive maps, and will include the interesting things I learned as well as those fantastic people I met all along the way. Each of the photos included are all at high definition size, and that means they can be view in slide show form on computers, interactive TVs which have internet, as well as pads and phones. However, these are large size files and look best on larger monitors, but wow...they look incredible on the iPad retina screens. I have the mini retina ipad, and they look unreal. But they also look great on Kindle devices as well as all other Androids. Here is the first one...and feedback on how they work would certainly be appreciated. Since right now each of these galleries take in excess of an hour to make, then it does not take much to figure out that this is at least 160 hours of work...which is close to a month working at it 8 hours a day. Add to that the process time for the photos, and LOL..the trip time...this was a huge undertaking, not even counting the out of pocket cost of the project...But wow...the way I did it, anyone can follow these books, any part of them, and see what they want to see better, and go with much information. My books contain pertinent links, history, and my crazy insane thoughts about how The CRAB made all this happen and all since the dawn of time...4729 BC...can you believe it...all this was done in just a little over 6000 years. I would have sworn that the Earth was billions of years old...but no..the Crab hammered it into my head...that is is just like the creationists said...give or take a bit around 6000 years, but....I really investigated and I have some serious corrections, from the Crab...and she has authorized me to write all this down so that we can all know what really took place. jonbbarry/barry/outwest/outwest-lkcharles-1/
