I have many OUCH moments , most experienced during the budgetary debate ...if you can call it that even ! A lack-luster presentation of fake questions for the most part ! The leader of the coalition stated that the approval of the budget is just a procedural process , to avoid another instruction on Sint Maarten. Mention was also made that this budget doesnt represent this coalition , and isnt their budget - actually the budget is like a step child . All very disturbing statements , to say the very least . For those who have sense and wisdom , I dont need to spend time to dissect the disturbing elements. Ill end by stating this however , never ever again will anyone run an entire campaign on the slogan or rather the promises of ... Being ready Being capable of getting it right Being of a sound mind to place US first Or being even remotely positioned to truly put Sint Maarten First ! None of which has proven to carry any credibility or truth !! The power to move this country forward lies with the ones who will be willing to sacrifice it all ! The ones who will rule from the position of opposition! The change will NOT come thru those who are in power ...Mark my words ! Youll remember what I said ! There are leaders in this country that are not in the position of power , but that will execute influence reaching far and wide ! #Kingship
