I have mixed feelings about my BMW that was destroyed in an accident tonight. While traveling at high speeds of approximately 75 to 80 miles per hour, the front left suspension completely came off the car. I know this to contribute to the crash because the police officer investigating found it about a hundred feet back from where I originally hit the median concrete divide head on. When I hit the concrete divider, a car bounced in the air rolling multiple times down an embankment on the other side. The good news is this car held up extremely well. Considering what I went through, to have nothing but bruises is quite remarkable. In fact while riding with the tow truck driver and approaching a toll booth, the toll operator asked if the occupants survived. Once he realized I was in the passenger seat, he wanted me to select lottery numbers for him.
