I have myself read the four Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharata, - TopicsExpress

I have myself read the four Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Satyarath Prakash, etc. and a few other supposedly Hinu-Aryan literature belonging to some of the saints. The problem with those who have criticized the following posting is that they have failed to give exact references of the books read by them. In the 19th Century neither Max Muller, nor Swami Dayananda were the first commentators on Vedas whose Bhashya was reduced on paper. It was Sayanacharya (14tn Century BC), a minister of Harihar of Vijaypur who first of all compiled the four Vedas on paper. Before that the knowledge of Vedas was scattered among the various religious Aryan-Religious acharyas in various forms. With the royal patronage and influence of Harihar, Sayan discussed & collected the said Material contained in the four Vedas, used his reasoning & imagination over it and finalized the work of compilation. I think, no body else like Max Muller or Swami Dayananda did so much research work over the exact sbuject matter of Vedas. Following all this, there have been various commentators, particularly including the Hindutva zealots belonging to the 20th Century. Most of them have indulged in alteration of the meanings of Ved Mantras In view of the above, after reading Sayans Bhashya, by Dr. Ganga Sahai Sharma, I am of the opinion that Dayanadas Bhashya is unacceptable because of many additions, deletions & alterations. Is there any body who may kindly discuss the contents of this posting on the basis of references to Sayan?
