I have never read 50 shades of gray or the Twilight series, I cant seem to find a reason to read them but Im curious as to the appeal of these book. What makes them popular? I did watch a few of the Twilight movies to see if I would be interested in the books. (I know that the movies are never as good as the books but I just was curious) Honestly I got bored, I even had a friend who read the Twilight books and tried to explain the appeal of them but I still couldnt understand. I know this is horror genre but I believe to be a great writer you have to be willing to read all genres. So I ask you guys as fellow reader/writers, What is the appeal?
