I have never seen a more desperate console... Great news for people who still arent convinced by its second price drop in under a year, though. The microsoft mindset must be that if they drop the price enough, people will want it, whereas sony just provides compelling promises (features and software) to obtain their market lead. So on one side we have the-cheaper-the-better, and on the other we have empty-promises-with-waiting-periods. Both are on my nerves at this point.
