I have no health issues (terminal or not), and have had many people in my life affected by various forms cancer, diabetes, FOP, muscular dystrophy (terminal and non terminal), MS, OCD, tourettes, anxiety and depression. Some people taken to young, some people who will live forever in pain, and the strong ones who survive and beat the odds stacked against them. Keep fighting, keep fundraising for terminal or non terminal diseases. As a healthy person I face enough issues everyday, I couldnt imagine having health problems on top of that. People who do are the strongest, hard working and determined individuals I have ever met. I am inspired by peoples generosity, I know its a phase but what better way is there to use social media? Honestly, this is one of the first times Im glad Facebook trends are out there. Go #ALSicebucketchallenge make a difference in our everyday social media experience. The people that are dissing it because its a fad, or stupid think about the positive influence it will have for those who are bound to a wheelchair, cant move their legs or arms. If you are lucky enough to still have that ability I dont think you should be complaining that for once those in need are finally getting the attention they deserve.
