I have often used the metaphor of a car accident to define perception. An accident in an intersection produces 4 different insights from the 4 street corners of the same accident. As in anything going not the way you want to see it in life requires you to cross the street for a different view. I found that clever until recently talking to Kal about writing the book, he is viewing it from a street corner and I realize I have been inthe accident. That is a whole new meaning to perception. Yet as I put thought to it, that is the view of danger or opportunity. Life constantly swirls around us all giving us opprtunities to respond to our own accidents.. which leads me to the point i wanted to share... the book I am reading chatted on what makes up resilience, and how does one choose opportunity over danger- eyes of love verses eyes of fear. It comes down to spirit- the belief in connection, a power greater than self, and interconnections grounded in love and compassion- it emerges as a component of resilience. Something to think about- may you see only opportunity in todays offerings! Blessings-
