I have reached the point where I need to reach out to my friends. For those that are unaware in January I was diagnosed with having dvts(blood clots) in my right leg and pulmonary embolisms in both lungs. At the time I was approx 1 week from being at Comcast 90 days. As such I was not eligible for benefits. In April of this year my leg gave out on me and I snapped my ankle. At present the femoral vein in my leg has been permanently damaged as well as the main vein leading to my lungs. As of late april I was released by Comcast. As I am unable to work currently I am not eligible for unemployment and not eligible for disability as you have to be unable to work for 1 year per their requirements. My girlfriend has done her best over the course of the last six months to keep us upright. As it stands right now we are currently 3 months behind on rent. Downsizing is not a option as no one in this town will rent to us if evicted. I need help guys. Anything would be appreciated.
