I have seen so many people posting about Robin Williams death and it just makes me think...my goal in life is not to be really rich, and for me, success is not defined by making money. I want something deeper than that. I want to love and live life to the fullest and hopefully help people along the way. There is a lot of bad in the world but I always want to remind myself of the good as well. There are so many compassionate people left, and you never know the person you can come across. Tonight, our car actually broke down on the interstate. We had to pull off the intersection and we stood in the rain for about 20 minutes straight. We were jumping up and down, waving our hands around, and just hoping someone would stop to help us. No one stopped but these two women. Almost a half hour went by, but someone finally showed up. It was pretty frustrating but I wanted to try and remind myself that someone might help. Its disappointing to know a lot of people just past us by, but someone finally helped. We also had someone show up and jump us off again and follow us to our apartment, so that was nice as well. I have no idea how I started talking about these two different things, but I guess my point is there will always be compassionate and nice people in this world. You never know what someone might be going through, so I just think with a little love and kindness, you can do a lot for someone. So sad to hear about someone like Robin Williams. You would think some goofy, comedic person like him wouldnt be depressed or miserable, but you never know. Hopefully this all makes sense. My brain is random and spastic at times, but I like to share these thoughts...who knows who it might help. Have a good night, and just remember, try and help some people along the way :)
