I have to seriously laugh as I read some of the comments and watch the previews for tonights show of The Bachelorette, where our local farmer and his hometown are featured. I read that Andi will have plenty of time to milk cows and maybe find something to do! REALLY? Just because this is Iowa, doesnt mean we couldnt use a good female lawyer in town. Anyone that knows Northeast Iowa, knows we have some very educated, well-rounded citizens living here and it is a beautiful place to live... Isnt that enough? Just because we are a farming community, does not mean we sit around all day barefoot, spitting watermelon seeds with nothing to do but practice our hick way of living!
