I havent said much about Robin Williams death because I am deeply saddened by it. Growing up, I watched Mork and Mindy, and that was just the beginning. This poem in this video is from one of my favorite movies Williams played in The Dead Pets Society. It is amazing, and real, and everything we live for in our human race. When we hear Williams spoken word, we feel it, we live it, we connect with it, which allows us to get it. But how saddening, how maddening, it must be to speak the words into life, yet, they are dead in your heart? Williams touched us with theatrical muses, just like a lyricist nails the perfect emotion in a melodious metaphor. He gave us Mrs. Doubtfire, Patch Adams and Good Will Hunting and we connected and we felt the hope...But he couldnt.... It saddens me that a man, who brought so much laughter and joy to this world, was so desperate and alone. Where the only way out, was to exit stage left before the play was over. And the world will never be able to give him back what he gave us, not that they ever really could. Many of us can relate to that, here. Depression is a serious illness.
