I here in 7MW at a wake for my cousins husband,, Willie Dewey Sr. There are no lights or running water here and the wake is tonight.. Its sad when people are not of some particular status they are kicked to the side and pretty much forgotten.. Im thankful People in Bylas show no favor.. They have love and compassion for everyone, regardless. Today I see first hand what our community faces.. Lack of support for one another in time of loss and need. What happened to us? Who have we become?... if anyone can donate even a bench for people to sit on. A lateen to light through out the night. A load of wood even.. Never in my entire life here on the rez seen anything as sad as this day.. Keep this family in prayer.. No matter what a person chooses to live like ,, no one deserves this...
