I honestly dont see how Christians are persecuted. I cannot marry - TopicsExpress

I honestly dont see how Christians are persecuted. I cannot marry in any church where I am not a member. This is not discrimination; the minister has every right to deny me. Granting rights to people to marry legally means nothing in to a religious organization. Churches can still decide who is a member and what is in scripture. Church doctrine is free from government interference. The Klan claims to be a Christian organization and are permitted to preach hate, congregate and protest. Churches curtail and permit what they believe is in alignment with scripture. You can believe and practice what you want. Christians have the right to congregate, to marry, to protest, to proselytize. They gather at clinics and military funerals to protest and are not arrested. They speak on corners and are not silenced. They are given permits to hold public and private functions that fill NFL arenas. They are not beat and left for dead for their beliefs. They are not refused hospital rights with their loved ones. Ive cleaned glass out of the head of a gay bashing victim. That is real persecution.
