I just answered my door and my 89 year old neighbor is crying and frantic I calm her down she went with her sister earlier today to pick up her car from the garage, apparently the mechanic told her that her bill was 180. dollars, so Louis gave him her debit card, he ran it and told her that she did not have enough to cover it, so she gave him her discovery card, and he charged and gave her a receipt. she said that when she left she called her bank and they told her that she had 0 in her checking account. She says I HAVE 141.74 IN THAT ACCOUNT. so basically she was crying because she has no money until Nov. 3rd. And is claiming that the garage stole the 141.74. Before I get all crazy on this mechanic I will let you know, she also told me a year ago that when she bought her car that she paid them twice for it with a check and her discovery card. I told her that it is to late now and to stop crying and to calm down. My choice is to help her I will call or go to the garage and explain in front of her to the mechanic what she is claiming, if this is true and not her mistake, I will make sure that the police are notified.
