I just cant get over the love and support everyone is giving and doing for us! Most people know how Gerald and I are with never asking for help or really even wanting it. But so many people helping or wanting to help to make sure he is able to be with us and not have to worry much about having to leave us for work is just amazing. We really appreciate each and every one of you!! I know Gaige likes having us both with him and really right now he does need us both. Anytime his dad leaves the room he wants to know where he is lol and I assure him he is still here. I am very thankful to have him here with us that is for sure. He has been such a big help! I want to thank my sister Kayce for all the help she is doing taking care of Jaydan and going to the house and taking care of our cat Gunner. She has been such a huge help and Idk what we would do without her! I by far have the best sister ever! And knowing Jaydan is being taken care of makes me feel so good that I dont have to worry about him. Her and her husband are two of the most unselfish people I know. And not to mention my nephew James Mullins for helping them with him too. I dont really have anything new to say about Gaige. Everything is pretty much still the same...just a slow process of sitting and waiting to see whats going to happen or what needs to be done. He is getting 1- 2 blood and platelet transfusions a day along with fresh frozen plasma transfusions a day. His kidney still arnt working great without the meds. His liver enzymes are coming down some but his bilirubin continues to go up. His magnesium, calcium, potassium, phosphorus are all still low so he is getting lots of those throughout the day as well as being on 3 different antibiotics. He is getting morphine every 2-3 hours to help control his pain and He is on oxygen most of the time especially when he is sleeping but does fairly good without it if hes awake which he is sleeping most of the time. I think I covered everything. He hasnt eaten anything at all in over a week and today he got the ok to start out on solids. When you have an only meat eater solids are hard to come by lol but Gerald went and got him a couple of milk shakes and he has been trying on those. We are just so ready to start seeing some improvements really soon! Keep the prayers coming and once again we thank everyone more than you all will ever know!
