I just had someone say to me: who makes all stars dont matter, its just fun to play. Whereas I agree with that...it was and is VERY important to my house. Reason being #1. It matters to MY SON! #2. He deserved for someone to notice he is good and yes a confidence boost was awesome due to our own rec taking the confidence away from my child by telling him hes too small for EVERYTHING! So YES it is just a game, but its a game we LOVE, and its HIS dream to play for the Atlanta Braves...so dang right Im gonna dream with him and do all I can on my part to get him closer to it. Also do consider how you would feel if someone told your child they were too fat to play? Yeah you wouldnt like it and would show your rear just like I did! But guess what there are thousands more children in bwk than Brantley and HE WAS STILL NOTICED (in one season)! hows that for proof it only matters WHO YOU ARE, and how deep them pockets are in BC! So with that said Id like to say thank you to all the people who caused us to go elsewhere....cause the outcome is bitter sweet! May you think about this the next time you INSULT a child and attempt to crush their dreams! SHAME ON EVERYONE OF YOU! Proud of my son Tre for realizing this was other peoples problem, not his! You go boy! Dont let no one tell you your size matters! Cause your heart is bigger than any of theirs! ~rant over
