I just read a description of an episode of a TV show about a man who decided to build an 800-square-foot, three-tree treehouse — it sleeps five and has a bathroom, kitchen, cigar humidor, and an exterior deck with a meat smoker — so he can bond with his first grandson. (1) I wonder where he got the notion that bonding with ones grandchild requires huge expenditures? (2) Who thinks cigars are an important ingredient in bonding with children??
