I just remembered something odd that happened to me. Earlier this year I was driving with Dom back home from his Grandparents who live in Clearbrook, 3hrs North from here, literally in the middle of nowhere for most of the trip. You can go several miles without seeing a house or anything. Anyways I was on a stretch of road that was very up and down with hills, at the top of one I saw a big white truck down the way with orange/yellow flashing lights for just a brief moment, so I slowed down to turn off my cruise control assuming it was some kind of emergency vehicle, as I start hitting the brake Dom asks. Why are you slowing down?? Didnt you see the lights and the truck, No there wasnt anything! 10 seconds later we come over a steep hill and there was no signs of a truck, and nowere for it to have gone, especially out in the open, but there was a huge dog right in the middle of my lane I would have hit going 60mph if I would have not slowed down. I would be completely devistated if I was responsible for killing someones dog....So thankful for those phantom lights :)
