I just seen the saddest thing... A dog & her pup that is probably 3 months old, were out in the middle of the street, The pup had been ran over & it broke his back legs so it could not move. But the mom would not leave its side. They were on the stripe that is in the middle of the highway of a 75 mph zone. Cars were speeding by them in both directions. I stopped and several other cars did as well. When a man walked up to the pup, the momma dog began to lick the pups face and then began to lick the mans hands. The man picked up the pup & carried it to the side of the road and laid it back down. Whenever the mom seen that the pup was safe she literally begin jumping up-and-down & licking the man. It was a sad yet beautiful sight to see. It made my heart smile really big ! And the man said he was going to carry them to the vet.
