I just wanted to pass on my thanks to Nottinghamshires councils and the really sensible decision not to send out any grit lorries yesterday afternoon before the snow that was actually forecast came down and caused chaos on the roads. Two 70 yr olds stuck in a taxi for over 2 hours which cost them £40 because of your fantastic decision making. Really stunning. Still Im sure the money youve saved will be well used, probably contributing towards another tram serving the South of the City that we dont need!!
